Through Mary to Jesus
Worship and prayer at Mary Help of Christians is an encounter with God's goodness in its truest form.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Mary does not stand aside but actively participates in the work of salvation. From the very beginning, she is obedient to God and surrenders herself to Him in all things. Therefore, the closeness of Mary is not just a feeling we experience when we pilgrimage to Brezje. It is an encounter with God’s goodness in its truest form. <\/p>\n

We do not visit Mary\u2019s altar at Brezje for the sake of feeling comfortable, but because we also wish to live in the heart of the Church, with Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The blessing of the cars takes place every Sunday after Holy Mass, except Easter. You do not need to register for the blessing of the cars.\nYou just need to follow the instructions of the ushers and bring your car to the area in front of the Basilica after Mass. For the blessing of cars during the week, please report to the sacristy immediately after Holy Mass.<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the first year of independence, in 1992, the Slovenian people consecrated themselves to Mary at Brezje. This consecration is renewed every year on the Feast of the Assumption of Mary with the Archbishop of Ljubljana. Slovenian Christians are invited to consecrate themselves to Mary Help of Christians every day. <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We consecrate ourselves to you, that through prayer and penance we may transform our hearts. We consecrate our families to you, that they may be open to life and reveal spiritual values to the young.<\/p>\n

Since 2009, the Pilgrim Office has been operating at Brezje. The Franciscans at Brezje, who have cared for the Brezje shrine since 1898, established the office with the aim of assisting pilgrims in their journey to Mary Help of Christians at Brezje. This also gives rise to the activities of the Pilgrim Office and the company Romar. <\/p>\n

The tasks of the Pilgrim Office include public relations, primarily managing the magazine Marija and the website, as well as the sale of souvenirs.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
